Carlsbad celebrates the 2022 summer with the Aloha Plunge on Saturday July 23rd! The Aloha Plunge runs from 5 until 8 PM.
The Aloha Plunge takes place at the Alga Norte Community Park Aquatics Center. Alga Norte Community Park is in the La Costa area of Carlsbad, at 6565 Alicante Road.
The Aloha Plunge is limited to 500 and registrations may go quickly (the event is almost half full today). Furthermore, the cost is $10 per person, with children age 3 and under FREE (to be identified at check-out online). Register online, and get your wrist bands now so you don’t have to wait in line.
Once registered you can pick up wrist bands at the Aquatics Center during normal business hours. Tickets will be available at the event if the event is not sold out. I wouldn’t take the risk as they have sold out in the past.
Bring your swimming suit and enjoy the luau-themed fun, in the pool and on land! Challenge your talents in the pool with several water obstacles, and enjoy the Tropical Tic-Tac-Toe and Tiki Toss.
On land kids can enjoy a tropical bounce house, and have photos taken. The Splash Pad will be open for the younger children.
Interested in learning how to do the hula? You can, when the evening concludes with a 45-minute Polynesian performance!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
Alga Norte Community Park is one of Carlsbad’s favorite parks with a host of features, including a large dog park.
