Each month I review housing market data on our MLS, and compile market reports for 11 North San Diego County communities that I serve, for potential buyers and sellers and for clients. It’s critical for me to understand what’s happening in the local housing markets (and there have been many shifts in recent months as a result of the pandemic), so I can be as helpful as possible to buyers and sellers and they can then make informed buying and selling decisions.
The local market conditions have a substantial impact on buying and selling due because of competition, time on the market, asking prices and sales prices, and multiple offers. Market reports for our communities are excellent education for anyone thinking about buying a home now, or in the future, or for those who have a home they are considering selling.
Have you wondered HOW the market is doing? A market report will give you that information, although I can provide some additional insights on what the statistics can mean for your decision making, timing, etc.
I share my monthly Carlsbad market report on this blog (here’s the one for August 2020 in case you missed it), but generally share my other monthly market reports on my ActiveRain blog – the largest real estate online community there is!
You can check them all out here (link to my ActiveRain blog), along with other real estate and community information articles, or click on the individual market report links below for the AUGUST 2020 statistics.
Then let me know if you have any questions about what this means for you and any buying or selling decisions you hope to make.
