Art in the Village is June 27, 2021 – Reminder & Updates

Art in Carlsbad

This is a friendly reminder for art lovers that the 23rd Art in the Village returns for Carlsbad Village this Sunday, June 27th, from 9 am until 5 pm.

Here are a few updates:

There will be some new artists, which is always wonderful to see. And of course many favorites from past years will be there, too. You can expect over 100 local and regional artists. You can preview the artists here.

There will be live music throughout the event, on 3 different blocks.

Art in the Village is sponsored by the Carlsbad Village Association, with support again from Farm Fresh to You.

Art in the Village takes place in downtown Carlsbad Village along State Street and Grand Avenue. The art fair is free to attend.

In addition to art work from over 100 artists, you’ll find interactive demonstrations, live sculpting, and a Kids Color Zone booth for creating personalize postcards.

The artwork and artists were jury-selected, and all art handcrafted and unique, in every type of medium – hand-painted clothing, fine art, contemporary and classical sculpture, ceramics and pottery, all kinds of jewelry, paintings (watercolors, oils, acrylics, mixed media), wood working, metal, glass, furniture, and more.

Don’t forget your wallet so you can have some fun buying!

Our late June weather is usually pretty good and it can be a great time to enjoy being outdoors. Carlsbad Village art fairs are typically crowded, so there may be some parking challenges in town – but parking is free!

The Coaster is also close by in case you prefer public transportation or are coming from a distance.

There are numerous retailers in the downtown area to visit, and lots of restaurant options, too, if you actually tire of exploring the art fair. And beautiful Carlsbad beaches are only a couple of blocks away.

Come and spend the day in Carlsbad Village!!
