The housing market continues to favor sellers, with limited inventory, competition for many properties, and rising prices in North San Diego County. You find the specific details for April 2021 in 11 communities below. The data are derived from the information posted in the MLS, and are believed to be accurate at the time these reports were written, but are not guaranteed.
As a local Realtor it’s essential that I understand the local housing market conditions, so I can be as helpful as possible to buyers and sellers and guide them appropriately when important, and personal, buying and selling decisions must be made.
Local market conditions have a substantial impact on buying and selling because of competition (supply and demand), time on the market, list prices versus sales prices, and multiple offers. And real estate IS local!!
No doubt YOU have wondered HOW the real estate market is doing, especially when you hear what the media is saying about inventory and prices, even if you aren’t planning to buy or sell at this time!
A well-done market report will give you some of that information. I can provide insights on what the market trends mean for your decision making, timing, expectations, etc. depending on what housing market segment you are interested in. It might be a particular zip code or neighborhood, a style of house (attached [condo, townhome, twinhome] vs. detached single family home), or a particular price range, say below $750,000.
I share my monthly Carlsbad market report on this blog (here’s the one for April 2021 in case you missed it), but post my other monthly market reports on my ActiveRain blog – the largest online real estate community around!
You can check them all out here (links to my ActiveRain blog main page), along with other articles about real estate issues, area communities, and general information, or click on the individual market report links below to see the APRIL 2021 statistics. Last month was certainly a busy time for real estate for buyers, sellers and their agents!
