The annual tree lighting, sponsored by the Carlsbad Rotary Club, will be held on Sunday December 8 beginning at 2 pm. As always, the tree lighting and the holiday activities will be held at the front entrance to the Carlsbad Village Faire shopping center (located at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive) and in the parking lot. Come enjoy this annual celebration with other Carlsbad residents in the heart of Carlsbad Village and get into the holiday spirit, if you aren’t already.
The Carlsbad Village Holiday Tree Lighting celebration will include holiday activities until 4 pm. Santa is scheduled to arrive soon after the program starts, around 2:30.
A special holiday program will begin around 3:15 and run until 4 pm.
The annual tree lighting by Carlsbad Mayor Hall takes place at the conclusion of the holiday program, around 4:30.
