The Carlsbad Village Association sponsored another Heart of the Village Blood Drive this past Valentine’s Weekend on Saturday the 12th.
The blood drive was held at Barrio Glassworks at 3060 Roosevelt Street, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm to support the San Diego Blood Bank.
The initial registration for donations was so positive that they added a second blood mobile.
The Carlsbad Village Association announced that 51 units of blood were donated, enough to potentially help 153 lives. That’s pretty impressive and yet another successful blood drive in Carlsbad Village.
The next Heart of the Village Blood Drive will be held on September 24th. Stay tuned for more information on time and location.
