A New Taste of Carlsbad Village

Things to Do in Carlsbad Village

There’s a new Taste of Carlsbad Village coming your way. It’s called the Brunch Edition. With the popular Taste of Carlsbad Village year after year it was only a matter of time. The Taste of Carlsbad Village Brunch Edition, is also being sponsored by the Carlsbad Village Association.

The Taste of Carlsbad Brunch Edition takes on Saturday May 17th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Attendees will enjoy specialty coffees and teas, pastries, quiches, crepes, breakfast tacos, breakfast sips (think espresso martinis and mimosas) and so much more.

You might wonder why the early announcement more than a month in advance?

There are a couple of reasons.

Number one, the Taste of Carlsbad Village is very popular, and sells out quickly each year. As a result, it’s expected the Taste of Carlsbad Village Brunch Edition will be equally popular, and there are limited tickets. Tickets may only be purchased through the Carlsbad Village Association website. Tickets are $50 per person inclusive of food and beverages.

Second, tickets go on sale this Monday, April 14 at 9 am! In order to not forget and miss out you’ll want to mark that on your calendar and set an alarm. A limited number of tickets will be sold and it’s anticipated they will go fast.

So What Can You Expect at the Taste of Carlsbad Village Brunch Edition?

Carlsbad foodies spend 3 hours on a self-guided tour with a map and Passport (your ticket), tasting their way around the Village. The appeal, of course is the opportunity to enjoy bite-sized samples from multiple popular local restaurants with a focus on breakfast, brunch and lunch.

This is a terrific opportunity to check out restaurants you don’t know or haven’t tried yet. And you can enjoy your favorites, too!

Some of the participants include Froglanders, Senor Grubby’s, Lofty Coffee Company, Le Papagayo, Lola’s Deli, Daily News Café, and American Heroes and Brew. See the Carlsbad Village Association website for the current list of participants including the Sip Stops.

Parking is free in Carlsbad Village, which is a plus. But weekends are busy so you can expect a big crowd, so plan to arrive early for the best parking. There are sure to be plenty of food lovers in town for this new foodie event!
