Fall is here and that means a number of popular events, including the 45th annual Carlsbad Village Faire on Sunday November 3 in downtown Carlsbad Village. The Faire runs from 8 am until 4 pm.
The Carlsbad Village Faire is reported to be the largest 1-day outdoor fair in the US – if you’ve attended you know why they say this. But what really matters are the 800+ arts and crafts vendors offering unique clothing, items from around the world, art work, antiques, home accessories and furnishings, and the list goes on. This mobile malls covers over a dozen blocks in the Village.
With the holidays heading our way, this is a terrific opportunity to get some shopping done, in addition to treating yourself to something special.
There will also be live music on the community stage, and an International Food area with dozens of food booths to suit all appetites…a foodie’s delight!
The annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast returns as well (a tradition for over a quarter of a century) from 7 am until 12 noon. Expect pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice.
Popular events like the Carlsbad Village Faire attracts thousands of people so you can expect some parking challenges. Consider using the free shuttles from the Sears at The Shoppes at Carlsbad (at the 78 and EL Camino Real) and the Poinsettia Coaster Station).
If you should, by some chance, get tired of the Carlsbad Village Faire you can enjoy our local retailers and eateries nearby, or spend some time at the beach just a few blocks away.
