There’s still time to register for the 2025 Aloha Plunge in Carlsbad. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the 2025 summer season on Saturday July 19th, from 5 to 8 PM. It’s a fun event for kids and parents alike!
The Aloha Plunge takes place at the Alga Norte Community Park Aquatics Center. Alga Norte Community Park is at 6565 Alicante Road, at the corner of Poinsettia Lane, in the La Costa area of Carlsbad.

The Aloha Plunge is limited to 500 attendees and as of today there are still registrations available. The cost is $15 per person, with children ages 3 and under FREE (but must be identified at check-out online).
Register online, and get your wrist bands now so you don’t miss out. Ticket sales end July 18 at 5 pm.
You can pick up wrist bands at the Aquatics Center during normal business hours this week before the event. Tickets will be available at the event if not sold out. I wouldn’t plan on that, however, as they have sold out in the past.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE ALOHA PLUNGE
Bring your swimming suit and enjoy the island-themed fun, in the pool as well as on land! You can challenge your aquatic talents with several water obstacles in the pool. And enjoy pool-themed games and activities.
On land kids can enjoy the tropical bounce house and there are plenty of photo opportunities. There will also be lawn games to enjoy, too. The Splash Pad will be open for the younger children.
Are you interested in learning how to do the hula? The event concludes with a 45-minute Polynesian show with dancers. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to hula if you like!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the Aloha Plunge.
Alga Norte Community Park is a beautiful park in Carlsbad and one of the favorites. There are a number of amenities in addition to the aquatics center, including a large dog park, skate park, basketball court, and more.
