The Pirate Plunge is a fun and popular aquatic event, hosted by the Alga Norte Aquatic Center. The 2024 Pirate Plunge takes place on Saturday April 27th from 5 – 8 pm.
So what can you expect at the Pirate Plunge?
Kids can enjoy several pirate-themed activities in the pool (e.g., Ship Raiders, Message in a Bottle, Diving for Treasure). They can race across floating obstacles in the pool. Plus kids can walk the diving board plank!! Additionally, there’s a pirate ship slide and a treasure hunt on land, with plenty of photo opportunities.
The Aquatic Center Splash Pad will be open for younger children.
You will be able to purchase food and drinks during the event, too.
Admission and wristbands are $10 per person. Kids 3 or under get in free but must be registered. The maximum number of attendees is 500 so get your wristbands early – this is a popular event.

Wristbands can be picked up in person at the Aquatics Center during normal business hours the week before the Pirate Plunge. Tickets can be purchased at the event if it doesn’t sell out, but don’t plan on it. It’s far better to plan ahead, buy in advance, and not be disappointed.
