2023 San Diego Restaurant Week

San Diego Restaurant Week

Food lovers will be thrilled. San Diego Restaurant Week is September 24th through October 1st – 8 days of dining opportunities!

San Diegans can enjoy a wide range of food offerings at terrific prices at dozens of restaurants all over San Diego! How can a foodie go wrong with so many options?

San Diego Restaurant Week is all about reduced prices on fixed price multi-course menus at lunch, brunch and dinner. Some places even offer a drink as one of the courses. Additionally, be aware not all restaurants offer all 3 meals, many just have dinner.

Restaurants cover a wide geography, including downtown San Diego, inland/East County, and north to Carlsbad and Oceanside. (This is a personal photo and not representative of an actual course for San Diego Restaurant Week.)

There are 3 restaurants in Carlsbad – Ember and Rye, Draft Republic, and Ponto Lago.

Fixed prices range by meal, starting at $20 at lunch, and can vary by restaurant. Check out the individual restaurant listings to see what’s offered and pricing.

2023 San Diego Restaurant week is a tasty way to check out places where you might not normally eat. It’s an opportunity to expand your culinary horizons and visit restaurants you’ve heard about but haven’t tried. And of course you can visit your favorites, too.

Restaurants may offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and deliveries. Don’t assume but check first, depending on your preferences, for pricing and availability. And be sure to check for hours and meals offered…it may be only dinner!

No doubt you will find some dining options near your home. Or travel a bit and explore new places. Why not be adventurous in your dining instead of doing the same old thing?

It’s easy to participate in San Diego Restaurant Week. No tickets or passes are needed. All you have to do is visit participating restaurants that interest you to take advantage of great dining and prices.

Furthermore, if the Restaurant Week options don’t appeal just order from the regular menu.

Reservations are not required but always make sense, especially for dinner and on the weekend. Remember this is a popular event. It’s better to be prepared with a reservation than wait in line or find out there is no room. Some restaurants offer Open Table reservations directly from the San Diego Restaurant Week website, or from their own business websites.

It’s time to plan brunch, lunch or dinner out during San Diego Restaurant Week, perhaps more than once. Of course be sure to bring your wallet and a good appetite!
