Saturday, September 21st, is Museum Day, in San Diego, and in all 50 states, an event sponsored annually by Smithsonian Magazine.
Museum Day is an event sponsored by the Smithsonian Magazine, where hundreds of museums around the US provide free general admission for 2 people with a ticket you download here. You can download 1 ticket per email address.
Here in California there are 103 participating museums, 15 of them in the Greater San Diego area, including 2 in Carlsbad and 1 in Laguna Beach to the north in Orange County.
Museum Day is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our museums at a terrific price! Bear in mind that special exhibits and events are not included, and that museums MAY have other restrictions.
