Carlsbad has a wonderful reputation as an arts community, with a wide range of visual, performing and musical venues and concerts. Indeed there are numerous arts-related activities and events all year round, inside as well as out!
The Carlsbad Music Festival wraps up with its final outdoor Eclectic Lawn Concert in Carlsbad Village on Sunday May 19 at St. Michael’s by the Sea, from 1 until 5 pm.
The last concert will feature The Paragraphs, Viento Callejero, Clinton Davis, and the well-known Peter Sprague (Sprague leads off the concert at 1:00 pm).
Expect a fun time with some “adventurous” music (according to the website), and enjoy the beer garden and food trucks – El Puerto Mexican and Seafood, and Bread and Cheese Catering. Don’t forget your blankets and low-back beach chairs, plus sunscreen and hats, and of course some pocket change for food and drinks.
