If you are a beer and micro-brew lover you no doubt are already looking forward to the Carlsbad Brewfest just 1 month away.
But in case you didn’t know, you have plenty of time to plan for the 6th Annual Brewfest on Saturday September 7, sponsored by Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary.
Carlsbad and San Diego in general are a hotbed of craft breweries and places serving all sorts of beers, ales and micro-brews, plus cider houses. So Carlsbad’s popular Brewfest is an awesome way to check them all out, including wine, cider and kombucha, all in one beautiful setting, from 40+ area craft breweries.
The Carlsbad Brewfest 2019 is at Holiday Park on Pio Pico near Carlsbad Village, just south of Carlsbad Village Drive. Beer tasting is from 12:00 noon until 4:30 for VIPs, and 1:00 to 4:30 for general admission.
While much of the fun is centered around beer and other beverage sampling, there will be games, music, plus food and snacks from multiple vendors to go with your beer and beverages.
Be aware they will be checking IDs and no one under the age of 21 will be admitted to the Brewfest. You will want to arrive early to avoid missing out on your favorite brews – no telling when your faves might run out!
They anticipate 2000 or so beer lovers, so plan accordingly for the best parking in the local area since it’s limited, or just walk or bicycle.
You can purchase tickets online for $55, with VIP tickets at $75 (2 for $135); they even have a Designated Driver admission ticket at $15!
