It’s possible certain special programs and exhibits may have other admission fees. Additionally, some exhibits may not qualify for a discount. It’s wise to check with the venue first regarding any limitations that may exist.

You have until February 29th to use the passes. Discount passes may be used more than once, although the number of visits to a particular museum may be restricted. There is no cost for discount passes and the rewards may be substantial.

All participating museums and historic sites are members of the San Diego Museum Council. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy your favorites, and perhaps explore museums you haven’t visited.

In Carlsbad you can enjoy the Museum of Making Music and the Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum (it’s free).

Nearby, visit the California Surf Museum and Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, and the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas. Don’t miss out on San Diego Museum Month’s wealth of opportunities.
