Tonight is the final opportunity to enjoy the popular outdoor movie series, Flicks at the Fountain, in the Village, hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association.
If you haven’t been, or even if you’ve attended, tonight’s PG feature – Star Wars: A New Hope – is a great opportunity to enjoy the evening out as summer is moving along quickly.
You no doubt are aware the Flicks at the Fountain are on the big screen in the parking lot by the Fountain, located at the NW corner of State Street and Grand Avenue. Seating will begin at 6 pm and tonight’s feature should start around 8 pm (have you noticed how it’s getting dark so much sooner?).
While it’s pretty warm today, be sure to bring blankets just in case it gets chilly, along with your low-back chairs.
Bring some food/snacks and drinks, have dinner in the Village, or purchase take-out food at one of the local restaurants. Another option is to order pizza or something else to be delivered to the parking lot!
With Carlsbad schools starting Tuesday, August 25th, and Labor Day a little over 3 weeks away, it’s starting to feel like Summer is coming to an end, doesn’t it?
