Many Carlsbad residents are aware of the Robertson Ranch master planned community being constructed along El Camino Rel between Cannon Road and Tamarack Avenue on the east side. The community is having a significant impact on Carlsbad in several ways – the former agriculture land here is now gone, there are many new homes being added to the housing inventory, and the builder widened a stretch of El Camino Real (badly needed) from 2 to 3 lanes and installed a light at the main entrance.
ROBERTSON RANCH COMMUNITIES
Robertson Ranch consists of 4 new home villages, 2 of them gated communities, with a total of 308 homes. You can read more about each of them on my other blog.
The communities are The Ridge (87 homes), The Vistas (110 homes), The Bluffs (gated – 36 homes), and The Terraces (gated – 75 homes). There will be a commercial component although what that is has not, as far as I know, been finalized. There are also 2 apartment communities, one for 55+.
The Oasis is the community recreation center, with pool and spa, fireplace, barbecues, and cabanas. There are also 5 community parks.
Homes have been selling very well since they first began building, and currently housing prices of the most recent phases start around $900K and go up to about $1.6M.
