Ok, so it’s not in Carlsbad. That’s alright in my book, since one of the great pleasures of living in Carlsbad is the access to so many things going on in our neighboring communities. Some things are just worth leaving Carlsbad for.
What better place than Dog Beach in Del Mar (a.k.a. North Beach) for the annual Surf Dog Surf-a-Thon to benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
The Surf Dog Surf-a-Thon takes place this Sunday (REMEMBER, it’s also the anniversary of 9/11!!) beginning at 8:30. Sorry, registration is now closed, but you can still enjoy all the fun at the beach on Sunday.
