Repair Requirements for FHA Loans

If you are considering using an FHA loan to purchase your new home, or are already qualified, it’s important as a CARLSBAD BUYER to understand that there may be certain repairs that may arise in the course of an FHA appraisal and which may be REQUIRED to be fixed as a condition of the loan.
While this may not be a problem in homes that are in good shape , it could be an issue with some properties and may prevent you from purchasing certain homes unless the seller is willing and able to make the necessary repairs.
A good friend of mine who is a mortgage broker back in CT wrote this post about repair requirements for FHA loans and I felt it was very worthy of being shared.
