It’s hard to believe that the big 4th of July holiday is just next week….it’s a bit odd this year, occurring in the middle of the week.
The 4th of July is a big deal here in Carlsbad…and everywhere else. There are always plenty of celebrations and fireworks in and around Carlsbad. And it’s big holiday for private festivities, and cookouts and picnics with family and friends.
And it goes without saying there will be crowds at the Carlsbad beaches. Not surprisingly public parking is a premium, in the Village and at all the beaches, so plan accordingly.
Red, White and BOOM is the very popular annual celebration and fireworks display at Carlsbad’s famous Legoland on July 4th with fun for all ages.
Red, White and BOOM will offer 60+ rides, shows, and other attractions, as well as a number of popular games including a LEGO hamburger relay, water balloon toss, and burlap sack races.
And this year, for the first time, there will be a costume parade so get dressed in your finest or funniest red, white, and blue.
The Legoland fireworks are visible for miles, and are also popular with those who live nearby in Carlsbad who can watch for free!.
Legoland’s Red, White and BOOM runs from 1 pm until 9 pm, and the fireworks, accompanied by patriotic music, will start at 8:30 PM. Everything for Red, White and Boom is included in the admission price.
