The big holiday weekend is almost upon on. Here are some options for you in Carlsbad.
Legoland’s ever-popular Red, White and BOOM – Come enjoy 60+ rides, shows, and other attractions, plus games and the awesome fireworks display that can be seen for miles. Red, White and Boom runs from 1 pm until 9 pm, with fireworks at 8:30 PM.
Fireworks at the Omni La Costa Resort in La Costa – People living near the famed resort love these fireworks that take off at 9 pm. Why not celebrate the entire 4th of July weekend at the Omni La Costa Resort with a host of activities including live music and great food. There are options for everyone, some free.
Fireworks at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort – the July 4th festivities at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Aviara/South Carlsbad include a huge buffet with lots of foodie options, held in the Palm Courtyard, and live music. These fireworks begin at 9 pm at the Tranquility Pool (beverages available for purchase).
While there are no fireworks, you could start your holiday weekend celebrations with a free concert. Carlsbad TGIF Jazz in the Parks, a tradition for 31 years, offers 9 free concerts on consecutive Friday nights. The series just started last Friday and the 2nd concert will be held this Friday night at Stagecoach Park, free to all, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
