Say ALOHA TO SUMMER and celebrate the first days of summer by hanging out at the ALOHA PLUNGE in Carlsbad on Saturday June 24, 2017
The Aloha Plunge will be held at the Alga Norte Community Park Aquatics Center in the La Costa area of South Carlsbad beginning at 5 PM.
The Aloha Plunge is limited to 600 participants and registrations are going fast, at $10 per person with kids 3 and under FREE. Don’t wait – get your wrist bands now so you don’t have to wait in line. Pick up wrist bands at the Aquatics Center between June 13 and June 24 during normal business hours.
Bring your swimming suit and have Hawaiian-themed fun in the pool, games, Hula dancers, and several water obstacles and “Key Logs” to test out your balance and skills. There will be plenty of made-to-order food – burgers, for example – at the Dive In Grill during the event. End the evening with a movie starting at dusk on their huge outdoor screen.
The Aquatics Center is at Alga Norte Community Park at 6565 Alicante Road at the corner of Poinsettia.
Alga Norte Community Park is one of Carlsbad’s favorite parks with a host of features, including a terrific dog park, open for several years now. The park will also be hosting the last 2 TGIF Concerts in the Parks in August this summer.
