Cafe Elysa is our favorite breakfast place on the weekend, and given the crowds a favorite of others, too. The food is pretty good – I especially like their coconut custard stuffed French toast, and their omelettes – and sitting outside on a Saturday morning close by the beach is pretty darn pleasant.
If you haven’t been, check it out. Then take a beach walk to work off all those calories!
Anyhow, this was not about the food, per se, but it was worth mentioning. But for those of you who are gardeners, especially if you like succulents, another benefit of Cafe Elysa is enjoying their succulent gardens, and some of the clever succulent planters they have.
It looks like succulents will grow just about anywhere, and they don’t seem to take much care…which is perfect for me.
