San Diego Restaurant Week 2018 started yesterday in case you were not aware, and runs through January 28th.
This is a terrific opportunity to check out more than 180 restaurants in the San Diego area, including 4 restaurants in Carlsbad for either lunch or dinner at reduced rates. In general lunches offer 2 course around $20, and dinners are 3 courses from around $25 to $50. Not a bad deal at all. Why not try out some of the fine dining opportunities at places you have heard about, or visit some of the many eateries you have been dying to try.
In the North County Coastal area I saw 26 restaurants that are participating with fixed price menus and great prices. In Carlsbad, there are 4 restaurants when you do a search for North County Coastal – The Argyle Steakhouse at the Aviara Golf Club, Cicciotti’s Trattoria in Carlsbad Village, Vigilucci’s Cucina Italiana, also in the Village, and Twenty/20 at the Sheraton Hotel, newly remodeled and with distant ocean and sunset views near Legoland off Canon Road. You’ll find more places in Encinitas, Oceanside (333 Pacific) and Del Mar.
Whether you are a foodie or not you will appreciate the dining opportunities that abound in San Diego, so take advantage of this year’s San Diego Restaurant Week 2018. And remember, there will be another opportunity in the fall at the second San Diego Restaurant Week. How fortunate we are!
