If you haven’t visited the historic McGee Park and the McGee House in Carlsbad Village just a couple of blocks from the heart of town on the coast road, you should.
The rose garden is beautiful with over 200 bushes getting close to their peak in this beautiful spring weather.
The Carlsbad Historical Society is housed in the old McGee House – there are limited hours – but the gardens and park are there to enjoy any time. Don’t miss a look at the historic barn, too.
